Boise Indoor Recap
Nampa, ID — What a great weekend!! I want to start off by saying the myself and the coaching staff are extremely proud of how the kids performed this weekend. We had a lot of season bests and personal bests all the way through the meet. The 60's started the night out on Friday and everyone did great!! We qualified 4 boys (Khalil, Cam, Ethan, and Jaymon) and 4 girls (Lizza, Keyondra, Jazz, and Becca) for the final Saturday morning. We had numerous other pr's in the event which means that......the kids hard work is paying off and they are getting faster!! Moving into the hurdles Julia qualified for the final Saturday. The 200 started off with Emily battling it out in the 1st heat and just getting out leaned at the tape, but set the stage for the excitment of the night. She also ran a new PR in the process. Maddy and Rachel also battled out in their heats to set indoor PR's and looked strong doing so!! As the heats wore on, we saw many fantastic performances by the girls. Jazz finished 2nd overall with a time of 25.90 and Lizza and Becca finishing 6th and 8th overall. Great job ladies!!! The boys kicked of the 200's next with more outstanding performances and at least 10 new pr's. A big shout out to Grant for running a Lifetime best 25.55....he was running in the 28's last year...Weight Room!!!! We capped off the night with Khalil, Jaymon and Ethan all finishing in the top 6 for the event.

lizza wallace
What can you say. She runs a PR in the 60 prelims to qualify her for the final and then takes 7th overall with an 8.02 and 8.04 respectively. She comes back in the 200 and takes 6th overall with a 26.02...02 off a PR. She comes back on Saturday and wins the 400 with a time of 59.11 and then is a part of the 4x200 relay that sets a club record and is now ranked in the Top 25 Nationally. She does it all with a smile and was actually nominated by another teammate to receive this for the Meet.

Aiden Barnes
Aiden is stepping into new territory and is doing a fantastic job. He came from Cross Country wanting to do the Mile and the 400. After seeing him run, we dropped him down to the sprints and he is doing great. He ran a PR in the 200 with a time of 23.69. He came back in the 400 with another PR of 53.45 and then stepped in to the 4x200 A team and they didn't miss a beat as the team finished 3rd overall. Way to go Freshman!!!!
