The Sequoia Varsity team opened the PAL season in commanding fashion, defeating Capuchino (San Bruno) 53-35 in a performance that highlighted the team's growth, resilience, and newfound joy on the court. Coming off a challenging 2-7 preseason, the Ravens took a step forward together, fueled by stifling defense, unselfish ball movement, and electric bench energy.

2025 has brought new energy for Sequoia Varsity, as we secured a commanding 59-18 win versus the Comets of James Lick (San Jose). After a 2 week winter break, the Ravens took the court with renewed joy and a commitment to playing for one another - watering the roots we've nurtured all season.

Sequoia Reaches New Heights with 1st W!

In a thrilling breakthrough moment for our team, Sequoia Varsity secured its first win of the season with a 41-40 nail-biter against Cristo Rey (San Jose). After trailing 15-24 at halftime, the Ravens refused to give. An energetic 3rd quarter helped us cut the lead to just 2, with our stifling defense limiting Cristo Rey to only 4 points during the quarter.

Sequoia Stumped in Tournament Opener

In our 3rd game of the season, we faced Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton) in the Kelly Shea Gallo Tournament at Mills HS. Despite our best efforts, it wasn't our night as we fell 11-45.
