Successful Home Opener

The girls FINALLY got to play a home after 4 on the road and did not disappoint. They defeated league rival Sultana 44-22. They played solid all game, winning every quarter. Paisley Aguayo led the scoring with 16 points and added 9 rebounds. Abigail Thompson added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 steals. We’ll continue our league season on January 8th at Oak Hills.

Tough road trip

The girls started their league season with a long trip to Burroughs. They ran into an athletic, experienced team and lost 51-21. We don’t do moral victories but the girls did a lot of thing well that we hope to build on for Thursday’s game. Thursday is our first home game of the season against Sultana at 3:00. Paisley Aguayo led the team with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Huge bounce back win

The girls played their second road game of the week today when they traveled to Barstow. After a rough game Tuesday, the girls were challenged to see how they would react to their setback. They answered in huge way with a 28-17 victory. They jumped out to an 11-2 lead after the 1st and led 19-4 at halftime. Paisley Aguayo led the team with 10 points and Anna Claire added 8. The girls take another long bus ride Tuesday when they travel to Burroughs.

Tough loss

The girls went to Adelanto today for their first game in a couple weeks. They ran into a tough team who shot the ball extremely well. Adelanto came out on top, 42-18. There were some improvements made during the game and the girls will attempt to bounce back Thursday against Barstow. Krissia Felix and Anna Claire tied for the scoring lead with 4 pts each.
