San Marcos Boys Varsity Lacrosse Fundraiser

The San Marcos High School Boys Lacrosse Team (Varsity and JV Boys) are asking for your help to raise funds to support their program in California. Unfortunately, California State and Local School District funds for athletics are limited and only cover a small portion of what our team needs each season to be successful. Your assistance in raising funds for our team helps to purchase needed equipment, pay referee fees, cover transportation costs, and - finally, but VERY important - stipends for our volunteer assistant coaches and JV coaches that are CRITICAL to a successful lacrosse program. Please consider a donation of ANY amount to our program and then enjoy our team page as we keep you updated on our team's progress through our Spring 2019 season. Your support is critical to our success!

About Us

The San Marcos HS Boys Lacrosse is entering its 14th year. Lacrosse, called the 'fastest game on foot' is North America's original competitive sport and is often called "The Creator's Game" by the Native Americans who have played it for centuries. Combining the athleticism of soccer and rugby, with the contact of football or hockey, and with similar tactics to basketball, lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. San Marcos High School's program has been led since its founding by Head Coach Mike Mathai. Coach Mathai has seen the program grow and succeed to the point where the boys have been in the OPEN Division Playoffs two straight seasons. San Marcos, CA is in North San Diego County and San Marcos High School is one of the highest-rated schools in the area for academics, athletics, and school spirit
