Kokua to send Moanalua Menehune to Vegas!

The Moanalua Menehune will travel to the "9th Island" to take on the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions of Las Vegas, NV for a non-conference game on Friday, September 6, 2019. This is the first opportunity for the Varsity Menehune to play an off-island game in the program's history and for some of the team, this is the first opportunity for the student-athletes to travel outside of Hawaii. While visiting Las Vegas, the team will have the opportunity to tour the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and travel nearby to Utah to tour Dixie State University (DSU). The team is asking for your kokua to support their travel costs for this unique opportunity to compete on the national stage and and be seen by college recruiters. The team needs to raise a total of $60,000. Mahalo in advance for your kokua!

Coach Savai'i Eselu took over as MoHS Head Coach in the 2016 Season, having served as Assistant Coach from 2011-2015. Coach Eselu is a proud Moanalua Alum, c/o 2007. Coach Eselu's goal for the Menehune Football Program is to develop reliable, hard-working student-athletes as members of society. The program strives for excellence through 5 factors that help our student-athletes prepare for life: discipline, commitment, toughness, effort, and pride.
