Manny Travieso was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended and played baseball in CSULB in 1993. Coach Manny has coached competitive softball for the last 10 years. As a travel ball coach, his teams have placed at the top in many of the large tournaments and showcases such as Triple Crown, USSSA and USA Preps. His most notable accomplishment was placing 3rd in Colorado Triple Crown Sport Sparklers 2018. Head Coach Manny Travieso was the 1st ever USA travel ball head coach to take an all-star team to play in Havana Cuba, vs. the national Cuban Team in July 2017 Over the summer, he became part of the coaching staff for the Puerto Rican National Jr Olympic team. Recently, he put together a non-profit organization called ELLA (Empowering Leadership in Latina Athletes). This organization will continue his vision to level the plain field for young athletes across all sports. Coach Manny has been married to his wife Patty for 20 years and they have 2 daughters, Lilly, 18 years old and Giselle, 13 years old. His family resides in Burbank, CA. Note: His daughter Lilly Travieso is committed to playing D1 Softball at the prestigious Cornell University in 2020.
