Coach Tim Krotish is entering his 26th season as the varsity girls’ basketball coach. His record at Eastern Alamance is 434-229. He has won 5 conference championships, 4 conference tournament championships, 6 sectionals, 1 regional, and in 2001 was state runner-up. Krotish has won numerous coach of the year awards including District 6 Coach of the year and Mid-State 3A coach of the year in 2015. He coached in the East West all-star game in 2008 and coached the winning North Carolina team and Eastern Alamance’s star Terri Rogers in the Carolina Classic in March 2013. Krotish is a 1979 graduate of Eastern Alamance where he was a captain and defensive player of the year in football his senior year. He signed a full scholarship to Appalachian State University and played 2 seasons with the Mountaineers. After transferring to Elon College, he played one year of football there. Krotish graduated from Elon College in 1990 with a B.A. in History. He has been teaching for 30 years. Coach Krotish is married to Laurinda and lives in Blanch.
