Royals Stay Hot, Advance to Championship Game

After a big win against the #20 The Master's in the GSAC Quarterfinal game, the Royals took on the #16 Oaks in the GSAC Semi-Final Game Friday night. The Royals increase their win streak to 7 straight games and their fourth top 25 upset in those games after defeating the Oaks 77-72. The Royals advance to the GSAC Championship game on Saturday at 7:30 pm.

Royals Advance To Semi Final Game After Upset Over #20 Mustangs

The #6 seed Royals faced off against #3 seed The Master's in the Quarterfinal game of the GSAC Tournament. The Royals upset #20 TMU 86-74 to advance to the Semi-Final GSAC Tournament Game tomorrow night. This is the Royals sixth straight win and third win against a top 25 team during their win streak.

Women's and Men's Basketball Head to GSAC Tournament

The Men will be the #6 seed in the tournament and will face the #3 seed The Master's in the quarterfinal game on March 5th at 5:30 pm. The Royals are 20-10 overall and finished 9-9 in conference, while the Mustangs are 23-7 overall and finished GSAC 13-5. The Royals dropped both games to the Mustangs in the regular season, with their last match up being a one-point game. All-Conference Honoree Josh Powell Davis leads the Royals with 419 points on the season, averaging 14.4 points per game and leads the team with 225 total rebounds, averaging 7.76 per game. Point guard, Anthony Garcia (JR/Fontana, CA) leads the defense with 52 steals and also averages 12.5 points per game.

Senior Day Magic Leads Royals to Upset Warriors

The Royals faced GSAC opponent #6 Wesmont and upset the Warriors 96-87 rounding out their play of the regular GSAC season. The Royals will head to the GSAC tournament and claim the #6 seed.
