Troy Boys Soccer Banquet is Cancelled

The following message was emailed out to all families. Please see below:

To say that the COVID-19 pandemic has flipped our lives upside down is an understatement. Our academic, social, family and even athletic lives have been altered tremendously. As you probably know, the Fullerton Joint Union High School District and State officials have made the difficult decision of not returning back to classes this school year. Unfortunately for us, that also means that we will not be able to have our annual banquet.

My heart breaks for all of the players in our program as they won't be able to celebrate their accomplishments together as a team. I have few words to offer our Senior class that will truly comfort them in these difficult times. However, I promise that we will work to celebrate your accomplishments in a safe and appropriate manner when the time comes.

Players, perhaps this is a good time to consider one of the beliefs of our coaching staff: The reward to everything really is the game. The memories on the field, the sweat, the blood, the joy, the tears. The moments on the field, with our teammates, are the true peak of athletic competition. Plaques get forgotten, recognitions on the wall fade, trophies, and medals rust. But the practices, the games, the saves, the goals, will live in your hearts and minds for a lifetime.

I hope that in these times you are able to find a silver lining and that your family may be blessed with strength and perseverance during this difficult time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support you.

The Booster will be issuing a full refund to all families that had already purchased tickets. If you purchased tickets please click on this link to fill out your information so that a refund check can be mailed to your home.

Thank you for your continued support,
