So we started our wrestling season this week. We went 1-1 at a dual meet on Wednesday and had an AWESOME tournament on Saturday. I never take enough pictures because I’m always running around but I can share a few. Congratulations to the Varsity team, they tied for 3rd out of 40 teams with only 7 wrestlers. Satira Sohal was the Champion at 116 lbs. Ashley Maya, Makayla Ybarra, Charlie Speer and Yuliana Vizcaino places 3rd.
Congratulations to the JV team. They placed 5th out of 40 teams with only 8 wrestlers. Tayler Davis was the Champion at 111 lbs. Celeste Diaz was 2nd, Juliet Chavarin was 3rd and Emarie Boloson and Serena Poe placed 4th. What an awesome start to the season. I couldn’t be more proud.
