Buena swept Golden Valley in a doubleheader, 8-4 and 11-5. In the first game, Tanner Beltowski went 3 for 3, Nathan Sherman was 2 for 4 with three RBIs, and Tommy Kendlinger went 2 for 4 and didn't allow an earned run in three innings on the mound. In the second game, Sherman pitched six innings to earn the win, Braydon Kimble was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and three runs scored, Jacob Martinez had a hit, an RBI and scored twice, and Beltowski finished 2 for 4 for the Bulldogs (5-2).
