A fighting spirit that never stopped

Unfortunately today, the season came to an end. That was our first home last two years. Tough when you have a loss after two years at home on a CIF play off game. I still would not trade the team that was out there for any other team no matter if they would be the CIF champions. Our guys never stop fighting and believing in each other! That is the culture that the seniors have developed in thier last four years here at JSerra. This senior class of 2021 was the first class that came in when I became the head coach. They should be so proud of what they’ve built in four years. If you asked me eight months ago that we would be able to play in the second round of CIF game during Covid. I would’ve said you’re crazy. I am grateful to the Lord that we got to have a season regardless of the result. Now it’s time to look to next year and build on our successes and gain strength from our losses.

Varsity on fire!

Today was a special day to honor the Seniors. The team came out with the great energy to give their home fans a great exhibition of soccer. The platform has been set for the chance to go back to back Trinity League Champions next Friday at Servite at 3:00. We would love to see the JSERRA fans there!

A fighting spirit!

Started the first half slow and struggled to find rhythm. Then the second half they came out with a new sense of purpose. And showed why they are on their way to winning another Trinity League Championship, with the grit and determination no matter what gets in their way. I’m very proud of my players!
