Welcome HORNET FANS to our 2021-2022 BAKER JV Lady Hornet Basketball family, friends and community Blast Athletics fundraiser! We cannot wait and are so excited to have you all a part our FAM1LY for this upcoming season! When you choose to sponsor an athlete here on Blast Athletics, you will receive weekly emails and updates on your athlete that will contain pictures, videos, scores, schedules, rosters, recaps AND MORE! As Baker Lady Hornets, we truly believe in the foundation and heart of FAM1LY because of your support, love and encouragement we want to build relationships with you that will last forever. The mission of our program is to build our young ladies for not only the collegiate level but to be successful in life based on work ethic, professionalism, self-accountability, and self-discipline.

About Us

The 7A Area 1 Baker Lady Hornet Basketball Team is in Mobile, AL lead by Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, Lauren Walker for the past four seasons. We are entering our 5th year under Coach Walker’s leadership, as defending 7A Area 1 Championships and an Elite 8 Appearance in state. Our coaching staff this season consistence of 3 collegiate athletes: D1 University of South Alabama Lauren Walker Head Varsity Coach, D2 University of Montevallo Bridget Hollis Assistant Varsity Coach and D3 University of Mobile China Guy JV Head Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach. Here at Baker, being a Lady Hornet means we believe true success comes from building relationships, valuing others, focusing on self-accountability through honesty, trust, and understanding that growth comes from striving to be your best self-everyday. This mindset builds strong accountability, discipline, focus, and structure as we grow TOGETHER. Our vision is always “trust your process”, believe in who you are, and leave nothing behind.
