Jared’s primary roles as an Assistant Coach & Director of Baseball Operations at Lansing include working with the outfielders, coaching first-base, and handling scouting reports throughout the season. Additionally, he assists with recruiting and various operational duties including fundraising and scheduling. Previously, Jared has coached at his alma-mater, DeWitt High School, from 2013-2017 & 2020-2021. In between his stints at DeWitt, Jared served as an Assistant Pitching Coach & Recruiting Coordinator at LCC from 2017-2019. Jared graduated from DeWitt High School in 2012 and Central Michigan University in 2017. Coach Helmic currently resides in DeWitt and has worked in real estate throughout the greater-Lansing area since 2017.
