Dow runs out of daylight settles for a 3-3 tie

Strong pitching by Jay Worsley and a couple of key hits gave Dow the opportunity to win, but darkness ended the game at 3-3 vs. Grand Blanc. Jay Worsley pitched 6 innings. and Tom Bacigalupo struck out the side in the seventh to close out the game. Zack Parker was a perfect 4 for 4 with 2 RBI. Billy VanSumeren drove in the other run. Dow is now 11-7-1 on the season and will travel to Heritage on Monday.

Dow battles, but fall 5-0

Nick Bond pitched 5 solid innings but was outdueled by Grand Blanc. GB scored 3 runs in the 1st, 1 run in the 2nd and 1 in the 6th. Dow would put runners on base, but could not produce any runs. Dow was led offensively by Zack Parker who was 2 for 3.

Pitching and Timely Hitting Lead Dow to Victory

Nolan Sanders pitched 6.2 innings of stellar ball to lead Dow to a big win 3-1. Sanders gave up 1 unearned run in the first inning. he walked 2 and struck out 10 to earn the win. Tom Bacigalupo got the final out to pick up the save. Zack Parker was 1 for 3 with a run scored and a RBI. Dan Kowalczyk picked up the other RBI.

Dow Shuts Out Davison.

Jay Worsley threw a complete game 1 hitter to shut out Davison 4-0. Worsley only ket 3 runners reach base to pick up the win. Dow got a 2 hit day out of Jack Bakus and he scored 2 runs. Nolan Sanders scored the other 2 runs. Ty Bacigalupo and Dan Kowalczyk each drive in a run. Dow is now 11-6 overall and 8-3 in conference play. They will travel to Grand Blanc on Thursday.
