Week 2 - Palmerton 42 Catasauqua 16

Excellent win vs a Catasauqua team that was returning many players on both sides of the ball. Daniel Lucykanish scored in 3 different ways in the first quarter to get the ball rolling for us. Matt Machalik had plenty of time to throw due to the offensive line play. Our receivers made some outstanding catches - Daniel Lucykanish, Dalton Drake and Bryce Marino all found the end zone for us on the night threw the air. Our defense was stout against the run only allowing 2.25 yards per carry on the ground while also harassing Catasauqua's QB all night led by the efforts of Emilio Gonzalez (2 sacks); Bryce Marino (6 QB hurries) and Jameson Trainer (2 sacks). It was a great complementary football night in Palmerton. The Bombers make their first road trip of the season to Palisades for week 3.

Week 1 - Lehighton

Awesome way to start the 2022 season with a 42-29 victory over local rival Lehighton Area. The Palmerton team showed a ton of GRIT fighting through much adversity thrown our way in the form of injuries, cramping on a very humid night and situations faced on the field. In the end, the Palmerton offense rose to the occasion through the air and on land. Matt Machalik finished the night with 348 total yards; 4 passing touchdowns and 2 rushing touchdowns. Kendall Robinson had a huge start to his senior season with 5 catches for 99 yards and 3 touchdowns. Daniel Lucykanish showed his big play ability with a 41 yard touchdown reception. Samantha Perloni did an outstanding job in handling our kicking duties as she had a perfect night 6/6 on extra point attempts. All in all it was a great TEAM effort - This is a fantastic group to work with - excited to get to work for week 2. Next up on the schedule is Catasauqua - Home 7 pm - Friday 9/2/2022
