A win is a win!

We're thrilled to get another win! We had a tough week after our first game with some injuries and other team dynamics, but our group showed great resiliency to battle tough and find a way to win. I'm proud of the way our group locked in defensively, especially in the second half, because we didn't shoot the ball very well. We made a little run right after halftime that opened up a lead for us and I think that helped our group relax and settle in a bit more. Macey Pond came up big for us with a couple of 3s in the 3rd quarter. And it was great to have Madi Jones back in the mix after some time out with an injury. I'm encouraged by the way we responded with a better rebounding effort as a team after struggling a bit on Saturday. We will enjoy this one and get back to work to get ready for the next one on Sunday at Graceland University.

Good progress

JV GAME - Our team suffers no losses only lessons. We are very proud of how hard our ladies worked. We have a very talented group that has bought into our system. Could not be any prouder of our ladies on the defensive side of the ball. We had a few different ladies sacrifice their bodies taking charges to get our team a defensive stop. Kirsten Kizer shot great from 3. Shooting 2/3 form the 3PT line. Emily McElroy played well off the bench, scoring double digits to lead us in scoring! Excited about the next opportunity to get better.

First win of the season!

Winning is hard, and we are very proud of the way our team competed and found a way to win. We played a little sloppy early in the game, especially as we struggled to rebound.

Lots to be excited about!

Although we can’t post scores from our scrimmage (per NAIA rules), we are excited about the wins throughout the day. We played against 2 tough junior college teams - Cowley College and Allen County Community College.
