Clairemont Wrestling Fundraiser

Hello Supporters of the Chieftain Wrestling Program! We are asking for your assistance in helping to sponsor our team. Wrestling has a low entry cost for individual wrestlers needing to purchase only headgear($30) and wrestling shoes($50), which makes it a great sport for anyone regardless of financial means. However operational costs and providing a great experience for the students brings additional costs. The District recognizes wrestling as just being one team and provides funding for only one team instead of boy varsity/JV and girls varsity/JV, making fundraising crucial to the success of our student athletes. We are asking for donations to help with the following: Tournament fees($4,000) Padding on wrestling walls for protection.($3,500) Travel fees($900) Team dinners($1000) New uniforms($800) End of season family banquet and awards($500)

About Us

The Clairemont Wrestling Program has been around for over 40 years and in the past 5 years we have been substantially growing our girls team. This of course comes with additional costs which. Our program focuses on the development of the whole student. We aim to instill values of discipline, accountability, hard work and determination in all of our athletes in the hope it prepares them for life after high school. We also strive to provide a fun enriching experience where the students can make friends for life
