Track & Field Program (2022 - 2023)

Last week was full or Personal Records. It was a PR race for about 80% of the team. Its great to see the athletes excel and reach for their personal goals. The Boys Varsity and Frosh/Soph teams won their race and so did the Varsity Girls team. It was a sweep for all our levels. This doesn't always happen so let's celebrate our accomplishment and get ready for the next race. Let's keep representing the school well. Victory with Honor

Our first Track and Field meet against Poly HS was full of emotions and surprises. The first-time athletes highlighted their athleticism and abilities at the competition. Track and Field truly is the time of the year were all the fall and winter sports athletes come out. The returning athletes set a fitting example and set the bar for the new class to strive for. We had many first-place finishers in several running and field events. We won at the Boys Varsity and Frosh/Soph levels. The girls' Varsity team is made up of all grade levels and easily won their competition. It was a great showing for Verdugo Hills High School at the meet. We look forward to our next race.
