Performance

Mykena took 1st place in the Girls Frosh/Soph 300m hurdles while also finishing 2nd in the 100m hurdles.

CO-MVP

Vincent Silva

Vincent earned 3 medals capturing 1st in the Boys Varsity 100m dash and 4x100m relay events along with placing 3rd in the Boys Varsity 200m dash. Vince was named the Sunny Hills Boy's Athlete of the Meet.

Julissa Herrera

Julissa earned 2 medals in the Girls Frosh/Soph 1600m and 3200m events while also anchoring a 4x400m relay team. For her efforts, Julissa was named the Sunny Hills Girl's Athlete of the Meet.

Gabe Maruyama

Gabe won the Long and Triple Jump events in the Boy's Varsity division setting PR's in both events.

Ryan Lee

Ryan won the Long and Triple Jump events in the Boy's Frosh/Soph division setting PR's in both events as well.

Justin Kim

Justin won the 1600m and 3200m events in the Boy's Frosh/Soph division after missing the majority of last season.

Medals Galore at the Fullerton City Meet

Fullerton, CA — An impressive showing by Lancer Track & Field at the Fullerton City Meet saw them collect over 40 medals and gain valuable experience in a comfortable yet competitive environment. There were great performances all-around and overall the team enjoyed the atmosphere and competition versus city rivals Troy and Fullerton. First place finishes were recorded by our Varsity Boys 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams, and our Frosh/Soph Girls 4x400m team. The following athletes also recorded first-place finishes:
