Otsego, MI — The Scots raced on perfect conditions at Bittersweet in the final SWMSC race on Wednesday and finished off the season on top of the conference for the 5th time in a row. "We are extremely proud of how our boys team finished up the season tonight. We had a slow start and battled back this season to finish on top of the SWMSC. Our seniors lead the way tonight but had great support from the rest of the team." Coach Petrosky. "We came into the race with a 34 point lead and skied well enough to finish what we set our goal to achieve this year. Our varsity team all scored to make it happen---the great thing about this group of guys is that anyone of them could lead the way in any event. Our team balance makes it tough for the other teams in our conference to get past us when we are skiing well." Leading the way tonight was Gavin Donnelly (2nd GS), Zach Roy (5th GS & 7th SL), Reid Goosen (5th SL), Tyler Roy (7th GS), Ben Degood (6th Sl & 12th GS) and Tyler Dean (11th SL). The SWMSC announced their All Conference Team at the conclusion of the race (the top 15 racers) and Caledonia ended up with 6 skiers in the top fifteen: Zach Roy, Ben DeGood, Reid Goosen, Sean Rice, Tyler Roy and Brayden Smith. The Caledonia Varsity B also won their conference championship, the second in a row for our team. The B team was lead by Sean Rice (1st GS & 3rd Sl), he also had the best time in GS for the meet winning the overall event from our B-Team. Brayden Smith (1st SL & 2nd GS), and Mason Peters (2nd SL & 3rd GS) rounded out our scorers.
