Cadillac , MI — Tuesday morning the Caledonia Ski Teams traveled north to Caberfae Peaks to compete in their first Invitational of the season. The girls team skied consistently and the Caledonia Clump edged past a very good Benzie Central team to take 2nd place, for the third consecutive year. The Host Cadillac won the Invitational. Slalom GS Total Cadillac. 32 23 55 Caledonia 43 41 84 Benzie Central 40 46 86 Clare 65 80 145 Onekama 100 73 173 MT Pleasant 91 94 185 Harrison 111 104 215 Earning medals for their top ten finishes for the Scotts were senior Emily Dean (8th GS & 9th SL) and junior Barbie DeGood (8th SL and 10th GS). Also scoring for the Caledonia's girls team were Evie Schlett (11th GS and 12th SL) and Danielle Miron (12th GS and 14th SL). "Our girls really skied well today and scored in a clump in both events that helped hold back the scoring for the other teams. It was cold on the slopes today but everyone's skiing helped us get past the temps."
