Wichita, KS — In a modified Baker's Tournament due to Covid, both the Boys and Girls teams got off to a great start in the Bishop Carroll Baker's Tournament on Friday, 1/8/21. Out of 28 team field of some of the best teams in 5 & 6A the Boys finished in 6th Place Overall. The team got off to a fast start with back to back 200+ games and rolled on from there. The Team of Ethan Kieso, Jake Read, Korbin Center, Zach Buresh, Reese Beason & Jim Terry showed that they have the potential to have a great season moving forward. On the Girls side, five of the six team members were starting the year on Varsity for the first time and in the first few games it showed. However, the team of Rylee Hall, Karessa Sutton, Erin Kreibach, Jalynn Cly, Ella Osterman & Kaylee Laha finished in 11th place overall out of 26 teams. After the second of 12 games, we were in 23rd place. As the games progressed, the girls came together, gelled as a team and were one of only 7 teams to post a score over 200. With three Sophomores & three Juniors, this team has the potential to grow into a very good squad. Can't wait to find out. Both Overall & Individual stats and scores are posted on the Bowling Google Classroom page under the Classwork tab in the Meet Results Folder. Coach Rehse & Coach Mann
