Halstead, KS — September 30, 2021 Goddard High School competed in our 5th meet of the season in Halstead, Kansas and we had our best meet of the season thus far! 14/18 of our runners ran a PR today with 2 additional runners running their fastest race of the season! It was a wonderful day for the Lions! As a whole everyone should be proud of our performance and the way we ran today. We have one more meet before league/regionals. The Lions will look to keep improving and build off of our solid performances today. Below is the pictures link, races times, and race recaps. Pictures may be found through the following link. Her time was a 23:12. She will look to improve next week at Wichita Trinity! Varsity Boys At the Varsity Level all 7 of our boys PR'd or ran their fastest race today! It was an outstanding performance today by everyone! I was particular proud of the character/resiliency our team showed. Luke Griffith was tripped unfortunately at the beginning of the race. Conner Huddleston made sure Luke was OK and the boys continued the race. Even through unideal circumstances both Luke and Conner ran PRs today!
