Rancho Santa Margarita, CA — Day 2 was a very hot day in Rancho Santa Margarita. Halle had a lengthy match vs the 4th seed from MDei, fighting hard, but could not prevail, losing in 2 sets. The young lady she lost to, won the event by default in the finals. Halle moved into the consolation 3rd/4th place match where she unfortunately played the #1 seed in the tournament, Bianca Molnar and was defeated 6-0, 6-2. Kylie Davidson with Sophia Moncur ran into another top Mater Dei team, the eventual winner and could not overcome their strength also placing them in the consies.. unfortunately, they also could not gain the 3rd place spot, by way of being on the wrong end of a 3-6 third set score. They were down match points in 2nd set though, forcing a 3rd.. before losing All three of these student - athletes gained 1st Team All Trinity honors!
