Mission Viejo, CA — Our frosh team starts the season 1-1. In their first dual the team started out well with a win over Cypress, it wasn’t until the upper weight classes did ELMO start to fall against Aliso. Giving up 24 points to both Cypress and Aliso. Kevin Enriquez, Cash Landreth and Evan Fowler all finished the day undefeated at 2-0. Varsity struggles filling weight classes as well and loses to both Cypress and Aliso giving up 18 and 24 points respectively. Freshman Logan Carrera wrestled well in his first varsity matches finishing 1-1, while Senior Jack Simons lead the team 2-0 with a tech and pin fall for The Vanguards.
