Our Lion Showcase is scheduled for next Wednesday, November 17 from 3:15 – 7:00 PM at JSerra’s main field. It will be a great team bonding event to showcase your daughter’s soccer skills in a fun and relaxed environment. I expect girls to be there for 2 of the 3 games. Here are the details: 1. All players will list 4 skills they plan to showcase during the game. (I.E. One touch pass, Throw In’s, Step-over, Scoring a Goal, Heading the ball… etc.). 2. Each Varsity, JV, and Fresh/Soph Team will be divided into 2 teams and will play each other. 3. Game times will be two 30 minute halves with a 5 minute break. 4. Parent, friend or another player will keep track of the skills completed using a tracking sheet provided. 5. At the end of the game, numbers will be tallied and pledges will be calculated.
