Stratford, CT — The Shelton field hockey team celebrated and honored players at its banquet held at Vazzano's Four Seasons in Stratford. The team finished with the most wins in its history. Erin Kovarczi had a team-leading four goals. Junior classmate Katie Bergers paced coach Bill Maloney’s Gaelettes with four assists. Maddy Cyr recorded five shutouts in goal, a new team single season record. Seniors Jackie Jenco and Caroline Richmond led the defense. Sophomore Kaelyn Horn added two goals.
