From the tournament director: "Coaches and Team Reps, Information for the Insanity 15U Qualifying Series tournament on Feb 13 is attached. There is no coaches meeting so please familiarize yourself with the tournament guidelines. It is your responsibility to make sure your players and families are also familiar with the tournament information. I cannot emphasize enough NO OUTSIDE FOOD and NO COOLERS allowed. Violators will be asked to take the food out of the facility. Anyone who wants to argue about the food guideline will be asked to leave. A full concession stand will be available. Families should park in the lower parking lot by the baseball field and enter the facility through the west doors. The address to the Peosta Community Centre can be found below. Team Rosters Teams are encouraged to email rosters by Thurs, Feb 10. This will help with team check-ins so rosters can be verified in advance. Only Sports Engine rosters will be accepted. This is per the IA Region. Coaches must still check in at the results table to sign their roster before a team's first match. Guidelines Summary 1.) All teams must check in and have an up-to-date roster with at least one certified adult. Per Al Cleary's emails, certified adult means they are on the roster and have "AR" next to their name. 2.) Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. There is no spectator limit. 3.) Bag/lawn chairs are allowed. Team camps should NOT be moved to set up chairs. 4.) Parking is in the lot on the south side of the building by the baseball field. 5.) Enter the facility through the west doors marked "Tournament Entrance". Teams and spectators using the main will be asked to go to the west entrance per Community Centre rules. 6.) Absolutely NO OUTSIDE FOOD and NO COOLERS. This is strictly enforced. A concession stand will be available. 7.) Team camps for the 15U tournament should be set up in the concession stand room. Absolutely NO teams allowed on the 2nd level and NO team camps allowed on the track. Teams are responsible for cleaning up their camp before they leave the facility 8.) No spectators allowed on the track. The walking track is for Community Centre members ONLY. If you would like to use the track you will need to purchase a day pass at the Community Centre desk. 9.) No trainer is on site. Teams are responsible for providing their own first aid kits. Ice will be provided for injuries only. 12.) Doors open at 8 am and play begins at 8:30 am. We will play ahead of schedule starting with the second match. 13) Be familiar with tie breaker guidelines. Tournament format and results will only be discussed with rostered adults per IA Region policy.
