Freshman 108lber Daylon recorded his first varsity victory of his young career. Daylon secured 6 team points by getting a pin.

Anthony Solis came out aggressive from the whistle and was relentless and dominated his opponent before securing a 6 point pin for the Cougars.

Daniel did what a captain is expected to do, lead by example and Daniel did that by pinning his opponent for 6 team points.

Liam came away with a pin to secure another 6 points for the Cougars

Cougars had their hands full.

Escondido, CA — Another week of Valley league duals, leads to another week of a very competitive dual. Due to illness, eligibility and other circumstances dictated that both teams rely on their freshman to fill the lineups. A total of 9 freshman competed on the night. With 2 matches left the Cougars held a small lead, at 128lb the Cougars needed a win from Anthony Solis to seal the deal and he did not disappoint. Anthony’s pin gave the Cougars a hard fought 3 point victory.
