Performance

Ben's slalom runs were a huge part of our team taking third at this race. We had a couple of skiers have to climb and Ben's times were clean and fast enough to keep our team in third place. He performed well under pressure today!

DJ came through for our team when it needed it most at this race. We needed him to put down two solid runs in slalom to keep the team in the top three and he came up with some great runs. Today is great example of how ski racing is a team sport

Great Start to the Boys Ski Team's Season

Cadillac , MI — "One of our team goals is to finish in the top three at all of the Invitationals that we compete in and we achieved the first part of that goal at the Cadillac Invitational on Friday. We knew that there were some great teams at this race. Mattawan Paw/Paw entered the race ranked 7th in the state, Mt. Pleasant was ranked 8th in state and Cadillac is always one of the best teams in the state, so we knew that this would be a great way to see where our team is at the start of the season." Coach Duane Petrosky "Our guys came out and really skied well today and we are super proud of all of their efforts! Tyler Dean medaled in both events (6th Slalom and 10 GS) and Sean Rice ended in the top five in a very tough field in GS (5th)."
