Fullerton, CA — Irvine High brought the Varsity Lineup to Troy where they wrestled some great competition. Our lineup was the following: 126 Brandon Chiang 132 Jeremiah Herrington 132 Shaan Patel 138 Armaan Nikoo 145 Alek Culciar 152 Kyle Pajouhesh 170 Hadi Hammoudeh 220 Jacob Saucedo Irvine got 2 placers at the Troy Classic, both of which reached the finals! Hadi Hammoudeh who has been on a roll recently reached his second finals match this season. He was in the lead until the 3rd period where he was unfortunately caught. Hadi finished 2nd but is confident he would get that match back one day. Armaan Nikoo pinned his way to the finals where he wrestled a smart and tactical match in order to get himself his second tournament gold medal in back-to-back weeks.
