Adaptive Athletics Finger Football Tournament - Optional Event

Description

The Adaptive Athletics Club wants to raise money to get new wheelchairs and adaptive sports equipment for both new and existing sports programs, like basketball, volleyball, and tennis. As a fundraiser the Adaptive Athletics Club will be hosting a tabletop football tournament in the Center Room where sports, clubs, or groups of students can enter. Lots more info to come, but it would be great to get a few boys lacrosse "finger football teams" to compete. All teams (6-8 players) will play a minimum of 3 rounds in round robin play, then be assigned a spot on a compass draw, where they will play at least one more round. Teams will play until the final 2 teams are left, and a championship game will settle the winner. Members of top 2 finishers will each receive a prize and a perpetual trophy will go into the trophy cases with their club / affiliation and year noted. Stay tuned .. more info to come.
