Santa Barbara, CA — Wow, what a race! Lake Cachuma is a beautiful place, we are grateful to be able to ride there. Some of the team enjoyed camping for the weekend too. At times this race became a Cross Country Run. The start of the race had a mud pit and the last corner leading up to the finish got so muddy riders were forced to dismount and run with their bikes through the finish line. Definitely a spectacle, and one that will always be remembered. Results: Noah Collard was able to come away with a 5th place finish in 6th Grade. He has been in the top 10 for most of the season, he was very happy to make the top 5. He put the work in, paid close attention to his strengths and weaknesses, and rode a great race. He's looking forward to improving more.
