Monument, CO — On Saturday, our sub-varsity athletes competed at Lewis-Palmer High School. This was an opportunity for our less experienced athletes to run with fully automated timing. LP chose to invite a small number of schools to the meet and allow each school up to seven entries per event, so we were able to take a very deep team to the meet. Unfortunately, at this time, we have only received results from the track events. I hope to see field event results soon. Some highlights: • Victor Moore took 4th place in both the 110m hurdles and the 300m hurdles. • Taylor Schreiner earned a bronze medal in the 100m dash. • Taylor Schreiner earned a bronze medal in the 200m dash. • Kylie Vick earned a bronze medal in the 100m hurdles (with another DCC athlete, Brooke Jaramillo, just off the podium in 4th place). • Lina Louden earned a bronze medal in the 300m hurdles. • The girls 4x100m relay earned a bronze medal. • Ethan Ramsay earned a bronze medal in the 100m dash. • Preston Wysocki earned a bronze medal in the 200m dash. • The boys 4x100m relay earned a bronze medal. • Lucia Campillo earned a silver medal in the 100m dash. • Kylie Vick earned a silver medal in the 300 hurdles. • Georgi Bruvold earned a silver medal in the 400m dash. • The boys 4x200m relay earned a silver medal. • Lucia Campillo earned a gold medal in the 200m dash. • Lina Louden earned a gold medal in the 100m hurdles. • The girls 4x200m relay earned a gold medal. • Quinn Pascual earned a gold medal in the pole vault. His height would have likely qualified him for the state track meet if this had been a state-qualifying meet.
