“Our guys really skied well today and we are extremely proud of their efforts. This was a tough field of racers and to bring home 6 medals in GS and 5 in SL is a testament to how much growth we have seen in our skiers since the move of our home hill to Crystal Mountain last year. We have a small but tough conference and are seeing the competition between our skiers really paying off.” Coach Petrosky “A win like today’s is a great way to end the season and to help our skiers focus on the hard work needed to continue their improvement, so we can make it back to the State Finals as a team. We are going to miss our seniors (David Potgeter and James Harper), they have both brought a lot to the team over their careers to help our team become what it is today."
Although the team’s season is complete, David Potgeter will be competing in the MHSAA Division 2 State Finals at The Highlands in Harbor Springs on Monday Feb 24th.
