Event MVP

Performance

As always, Abas puts forth his best effort even while feeling flu like symptoms the last 3 matches. His final match was a super close call and the ref (which is rare to hear anything from refs) indicated that he wished there were 2 more seconds to cut the corner on the shot. I think today was a lesson in the importance of planned urgency to get takedown points all match long and staying assertive. Abas' first big tourney placement. Good job Safi!

Rafan showed that he CAN play with the big boys and keep his cool at the same time. 2nd place today is a big deal and a great start to the season. Good one Rafan!
