Toms River, NJ — 2025 Group II Relay Championship Meet Girls HJ Medals, placing 3rd: Girls Team places 5th! Boys HJ shocks the World to place 4th! Seniors Fran Germano and Sanaa Wright both cleared 4’10” for a team total of 9’08”. That total tied them for 2nd but the tie breaker (misses) moved them down to the Bronze Medal, 3rd place, in the Girls Group II High Jump. Fran set an indoor PR. Seniors Art ‘Shaggy’ Hrycak and Donovan ‘the Mechanic’ Frees-Kroboth, the Boys High Jump team, was, at best, the 16th ranked team. In the most shocking result of the meet, the boys actually tied for 3rd but, once again, the tie breaker (misses) set them back out of the medals to an amazing 4th place. Donovan set an indoor PR and Art tied his indoor PR. The Girls 4x55H placed 4th running 34.56 sec. (SR Isa Alvarez-Gomez, SOPH Ivy Bruton, SOPH Sydney Kessler, SR Gigi Halicki).  The Girls 4x400M placed 5th running 4:17.00 (SR Isa Alvarez-Gomez, SR Ellie Semple, FR Anna Kaplinski, SOPH Bri Sassi). The Girls 4x800M Relay placed 6th running 10:29.54 (SR Ellie Semple, SR Caitlin Owens, FR Anna Kaplinski, SOPH Claire Kelly). SOPH Callie Blanton set a PR in the Shot Put (30’ 00”), the 8th best throw in Group II !
