James Thornton had a tremendous day at the 45th Asics Irvine Invitational. James started the meet running a leg on the 4x100 helping Victor Valley win their heat. He moved on running personal bests in both the 400m and 200m. James is currently ranked #2 in the league for the 400m. James also ran the anchor league on the 4x400 relay running a league best time of 3:33.68. This time is 3 tenths of a second off from last years season best.

Ah Meir Dureso

Ahmeir has cemented his place in Victor Valley Track and field History with of 44-6 in the shot put and is now ranked #2 in School History. This young man has a tremendous future in this event.

Jayshaun Stone threw over 120 ft for the second time this season and has emerged as a leader for both the shot put and the discus. Jayshaun is currently ranked 3rd in the league in the discus

Amirra Kelly

Victor Valley was excited to see Amirra Kelly at full strength coming off of an injury. Amirra ran personal best in both the 400m and 200m and ran on both relays. Amirra's performance now ranks her 4th in the League as she is .2 seconds behind the 3rd place time

Samire Simmons

Samire Simmons continues to impress in his 1st year in the program. He ran personal bests in both hurdle races and is now ranked 4th in the 110h and 3rd in the 300h.

Keshon Hamilton

Keshon ran a tough race in the 300h running his season best time. He has now taken off 4 seconds in this event since start of the season. He also ran a leg on the 4x400 me team helping them to winning some hardware with a 4th place finish.

Jordan Gershon

Jordan Gershon has now increased his personal best throw in the shot put by just over 3 feet since last season. He threw a personal best 35-1 on Saturday and we hope to see him in the 4o's soon.
