Jim Thorpe, PA — From the first meet to the next meet is always a time of great improvement potential for those that focus in the changes and corrections that needed to take place that are only identified in competition. Several members of the Boy's team did just that in their performances and mental preparation in the meet against Notre Dame Green Pond. Despite coming up just short in the team race (80-66), improvements were made across all events by several team members. The potential is present, and come post-season should the work ethic remain, performances will be extremely competitive with our opponets. Event winners during the dual meet were: Gavin Baker (Shot Put) Gavin Strohl (Discus) Connor Zurwawa (High Jump) Spencer Gothard (300 Hurdles) Kolby Cavanaugh (110 Hurdles, Triple Jump) Obtaining 1 personnel best in a meet is tough, doing it multiple times reflects the effort and training put into the process. With this, the coaching staff feels the need to mention the following for setting multiple personnel best during the meet: James Cicchinelli (1600 M and 3200 M) Collin Warren (800 M, 1600 M, Pole Vault) Gavin Strohl (Discus and Shot Put) Gavin Baker (Shot Put and Discus) Spencer Gothard (110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles) Nathaniel Estevez (110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, Javelin)
