Hollidaysburg, PA — Yesterday’s meet was a contrast to what the day was starting to be, blue skies, a little breeze, loads of athletes and everything all set…….Then Technology rears its ugly head, which was discovered during the 2nd event of the day. For whatever reason, there were No Central girls entered in the meet, all the boys were but NO GIRLS. Meet came to a standstill as we tried to figure out why! When the Time/Space/Continuum set in, Fuzz took over doing a little old school mixed with a little new school to get back underway. Thnx Fuzz! In the end the Tigers swept through both genders with scores of boys 92 CR 35, Tigers 140 Jtown 10 and Tigers 79 Central 34, avenging their only loss last season. For the girls it was Holbg 112 Central 38 Holbg 124 CR 22 and Holbg 124 CR 22 Adalai Carney and Elizabeth Frazier won 2 individual event & ran winning legs on 2 relay teams. Emily Clapper won 2 events and ran a leg on 1 winning relay. Kate Steiner was also a double event winner. Taylor Muth, Isabella Basenback, Lauryn Brick and Grace Muriceak won their events. Other ladies finishing in the top 3 were Anna Statler, Sophia Moyer, Rylan Carney, Brinley Bilthuis, Addison Basenback, Leah Petrunak, Lily Chestney, Evie Sipes and Sage Capone. For the Boy’s. Raelyn Ross was a double winner in both Hurdle disciplines. Other event winners were Anthony Destefano, Isaac Yarnell, Sebastian Diaz, Dean Sunderland-Ebersole, Hunter Albright, Wyatt Maines, and Guillermo Gaffney. Others places in the top 3 were Carter Belton-Ruiz, Christian White, Noah Kirsch, Tim Snyder, Cole Delattre, Kaden Metzger, JJ Shultz, Lucas Rivera, Reuben Manfred, Andrew Chestney, Isaac and Carter Muth. Both the boys and the girls are undefeated at 10-0. Next up will be a big meet with Bellefonte and Clearfield.
