Walnut,, CA — WALNUT, Calif. --- The El Camino College Track and Field team took part in its final meet of the regular season at the Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Highlights of the day included: -Fresh off setting a new ECC record in the event, Tilliana Wakefield-Carl finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.50m (11 feet, 5.75 inches). Misha Amir-Moazzami placed seventh with a mark of 2.75m (9 feet, 0.25 inches). -Arianna Hurtado placed third in the 5,000 meters with a time of 19:25.70. Teammate Ayla Barbosa placed eighth in 20:48.66. -Laighton Scott finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 43.03m (141 feet, 2 inches). Scott also placed fifth in the javelin with a throw of 43.51m (142 feet, 9 inches). Gunner Perez was seventh in the event with a throw of 41.21m (135 feet, 2 inches). -Nia Sinclaire Jarveaux placed sixth in the javelin with a throw of 22.22m (72 feet, 11 inches). -Aaron Cohen finished seventh in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:13.38 with Bradley Barbosa placing 10th in 16:28.33. -Ty McCormick finished seventh in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:28.31. -Griffin Esperon placed eighth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.10m (13 feet, 5.25 inches). Perez placed ninth in the high jump with a mark of 1.80m (5 feet, 10.75 inches).
