You will be excused from school all day. Please arrive at the golf course by 7:00. We will meet on the putting green. If you cannot make it please let Coach Harwood know ASAP. Couple reminders and an update for the tournament on Monday. The contract says 8:30 start time, but that was a mistake by me. Stony Creek would like us to start at 8:00 like in the past. So we will have balls in the air at 8:00 on Monday. The booth at the front of the park has a list of teams and will check off your schools as the boys show up. Just have the boys tell the person working the gate what school they attend and they will not be charged to enter the park. There is a $5 fee for spectators to walk the course, and they would prefer if no spectators used carts. If someone does need a cart, they said it will be a $15 riding fee. We will have medals for each coach to pass out for their top scorer. Additionally, we will have team medals for the top 3 teams at the end of the tournament. As soon as your boys check in with you, they are welcome to walk out to their starting hole and then practice putting and chipping on the green nearest their starting tee box. We ask that they return to their starting tee by 7:50 so we can begin play at 8:00. Coaches will be given tickets to pass out for lunch. Everyone will get a hot dog, chips, and a drink. We can have a brief coaches meeting at 7:30 but it will just be about the items posted in the app: -Double par max score -All hazards will be played as lateral -Bunkers should be fine, but if the group agrees, they can lift, rake, place. -Hole 17 will have a drop area with a 1 stroke penalty. -I will pass out the team medals and tickets as well. Reminder that the course is pretty far into the park. Plan for about a 10 minute drive once you get checked in at the gate.
