Players & Parents - We are thrilled to share with you the details of our La Jolla Vikings Football Team Builder / Camp for ALL Football Athletes (Freshman - Seniors), La Jolla, CA July 31st - August 2nd. A local adventure to build upon sailing our ship together into an incredible football season ahead. By keeping it local, we are saving money while creating unforgettable memories. We are requesting a contribution of $100 per athlete to help cover the costs of attending camp, including five meals (two dinners, one lunch, and two breakfasts), activities, and supplies. If you are able to contribute more or sponsor another athlete, that would be wonderful! However, if you can contribute less, the program is grateful for any donations received. Here is a brief overview of the agenda: Check in on Thursday, July 31st @ 4:00 LJHS BIG GYM Upon arrival - players / parents must fill out a form mandated by San Diego Unified School District, this form is simple and will include emergency contact information. We will attempt to have forms available for distribution prior to checkin. Players' cell phones will be collected during the check-in process. Players and Coaches will set up and sleep inside the Big Gym at LJHS; bring an air mattress, standard mattress, foam pad, cot, etc Overnight Security provided by SDUSD. All meals, snacks and drinks will be provided. After dinner on Friday evening athletes and coaches will head down to the beach for a bonfire. Pack up and pick up at LJHS (BIG GYM) - Saturday, August 2nd @ 12:00(noon). There are many other activities happening throughout the 2-day of team building, including a hike, corn hole etc. *Please ensure that your son brings with them a reusable water bottle for their use throughout the 2-day event. **While this event is closed to parents, we are in need of a few parent volunteers to assist with serving meals. Team Overnight camp on campus at LJHS. This will be our official start of training camp and our first official practice in helmets on Thursday July 31st. More details will be shared via email.
