(Total comes to $42 plus tax) Your parents must purchase a ticket for you to enter the park after the meet. If you do not plan to go to the park after the meet, your parents must sign you out with your coach prior to the team entering the park. If your parents or siblings plan on going to the park with you after the meet, they must sign you out with your coach. Everyone else will be assigned to a group and ride back on the bus with the team. ATTENTION PARENTS AND GUARDIANS GOING TO GREAT ADVENTURE THIS WEEKEND For cars entering with athletes or spectators, follow signs to Hurricane Harbor but they will be parking you in the Overflow parking near the start. It is free parking for cars you move it closer to the park entrance after the race, then you will have to pay for parking. If you choose to go into the main park (Six Flags Great Adventure) parking is $46.66. The park will open for parking for the race at 7:00 am. *Please pack extra clothes/ shoes, food/ drinks, and sunblock. (Dress accordingly) *There will be race merchandise and food for sale if you want to buy anything.
We will be awarding special awards for the "All Six Flags Great Adventure Team," the fastest 7 times of the day (all races) for boys and girls. There will also be a special award for the team with the fastest time (total time for top 5 runners) of the day. These awards will be given in the park at the Fountain, just after the entrance, between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. You can get it from the meet director, Jim Schlentz, between the end of the last race and 15 mins before the Great Adventure Park times, at the check-in area. (Theme Park Ticket is required to enter the park) Individual medals for each race will be handed out in the chute. Team awards will be presented as soon as the results of each race are final. The awards will be given as such: High School Varsity races: Plaques for top 3 teams in each varsity division. Individual medals for top 3 teams in each varsity division. Medals to top 30 individual finishers in each division. High School JV, Freshmen and Middle School races: Plaques for top 3 teams in each race. Individual medals for top 3 teams in each race. Top 30 individual finishers in each race.
