The Lady Panthers came away with a 61-58 victory in the season opener at the Panther Pit on Wednesday night. The Lady Panthers jumped on the Visitors 25-9 in the first quarter with Ciana Sciacca scoring 11 of her 14 points in the quarter. Daeyanna Hale had 12 points 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Evelyn Terraza had 11 points, 2 steals and 2 assists. Senior Ashleigh Harris making her HS basketball debut had 9 points on 3/4 from downtown and 4steals and 2 assists. Maile Johnson has 7 rebounds with 6 points and Seskia Campos added 2 steals and 3 assists.
