Plymouth, MI — The Cardinal at St. John's Resort The Northville Mustangs continued an exhausting stretch of golf this week, competing in their third tournament in just four days at the prestigious Cardinal at St. John's. Known for its challenging layout and marquee status, the course—which will soon host the high-profile LIV Tour team championship—tested the Mustangs' endurance and skill against a deep field of elite programs. Northville rose to the occasion, carding a strong team score of 316 to secure a T-8th place finish. -- Mustangs Performance Highlights Northville's scorecard was bolstered by standout individual performances, despite the rapid-fire tournament schedule. Leading the Way After a rough start, Jordan dug in to turn in the round of the day for the Mustangs. Jordan’s round was defined by a surgical stretch on the front nine, where he carded an even-par 36. Jordan's 74 was good enough for his first top-10 finish of the season. Finishing Strong Rex Chenoweth followed closely behind with a 76. Starting his round on Hole 11, Rex saved his best for last. With his energy high despite the long week, he finished his round with back-to-back birdies, providing a massive late-round boost to give him a top-20 finish. The Anchor Continuing his trend of reliable, steady play, Shivam Kikani carded an 81. His round was anchored by back-to-back birdies on the par-5s 4th and 5th holes. Shivam’s consistency has become a cornerstone for the Mustangs this season, providing a dependable score that the team can lean on in high-stakes environments. Shot of the Day Ben Zaremba provided the highlight of the afternoon on the par-3 14th. Ben stuck his tee shot to within a mere 2-feet of the pin, setting up a tap-in "easy birdie" that energized the Mustang gallery. -- The Mustangs will look to build on the successes of the early season as the tournament season begins to wind down and the KLAA league play is set to begin.
