Saline, MI — Saline delivered an impressive performance at the Golden Triangle Invitational, competing against a strong field and producing event champions, elite-level marks, and a surge of personal bests across both teams. Boys Highlights The distance squad led the way with dominant performances on the track. Will Sollenberger captured the 3200m title in a personal best 10:09.87, while in the elite section, Jacob Szalay was outstanding, winning the 3200m in 9:14.50 (PB). Brennan Larusso added a huge day, finishing 3rd in the elite 3200m (9:31.58 PB) and taking 2nd in both the Elite 1600m (4:25.41 SB) and Mile (4:27.08 PB). In the middle distance, Wes Rogan ran a strong 1:56.73 in the 800m, and Ryan Rummel added a personal best in the 1600m (4:47.34). The hurdles group made a major impact. Chanon Palmer placed 2nd in the 110m hurdles (15.05) and came back to win the 300m hurdles in 38.87, one of the top performances of the meet.
