Event MVP

Maria has broken the discus record for the 4th time this season throwing 99'1 at Linfield Christian. In the shit out she matched her personal best in the shot put with a throw of 32'1. She has cemented herself in school history with her dominant senior year performance.

Zayanna continues her sophmore campaign with yet another stellar performance. Zay helped the sprints program with a 3rd place finish in the 4x100 relay a 2nd place finish in the 4x400m relay as well as winning the Frosh Soph 400m and finished 3rd in the Frosh Soph 200m.

Essence Davis provides a foundation of leadership for our young program. She ran a flawless leg on the 4x100m relay for a season best time of 52.2. She also ran the fastest opening leg of the season running 63.5 helping the 4x400 relay team run faster than the schools previous school record for the second time this season.

Bryson set a new personal best in the discus with a throw of 117' 9" and has now improved by over 20ft in his senior year. He is now ranked 2nd in school history in the event.

Caleb had a great performance at the meet. Caleb placed 2nd in the Frosh Soph 300h as well as running the anchor leg on the boys 4x400 relay. His efforts led to a season best time in the 4x400 relay. They improved their time by 18 seconds at the meet running 3:50

Tre has emerged as one of the programs best athletes in this years program. Tre is now 4th all time in the high jump with a mark of 5'8". Tre's sprinting efforts have also placed him as a top 4 sprinter in both the 100 and 200m.

Dejon Sims ran a beautiful 1st leg on the Boys 4x100 relay and has now improved his 100m by almost half a second in the event with his performance on Saturday. Dejon has emerged as as one of the top options in the 100m for the program.
