Women’s Recap
The Saline women’s team delivered a dominant and well-rounded performance, defeating Temperance Bedford 104–33 and Ann Arbor Huron 96–40 in commanding fashion.
Sprints and relays set the tone early.
Charlotte Warren led the charge with a win in the 100m (12.59 PB), a mark that now ranks her 8th all-time in school history.
She also anchored the winning 4x100 (51.50) and 4x200 (1:48.70) relays alongside Addisen Freeburn, who added a 3rd place finish in the 100m (12.77 PB).
Janaye Sifuna and Allison Widen provided strong depth in the sprint group.
Mid-distance and distance dominated the meet.
Savannah Staton and Katarina Munson went 1-2 in the 800m (2:21.01 / 2:22.66), continuing a strong trend for the group.
Lilli Schlack captured the 1600m title (5:18.43 SB), leading a deep pack of scorers.
The 4x800 (9:36.14) and 4x400 (4:19.89) relays both secured first-place finishes.
Hurdles and field events added major points.
Adelynn Turck won the 300m hurdles (51.20 SB) and contributed to the winning 4x800 relay.
Shyla Smith added key points in both hurdle races.
In the field, Amelia Lorch won the long jump (17'1" PB), moving her to 9th all-time in school history, in a tie with Mahalia “Mimi” Staton in the event.
Megan Sweet and Jenna Sweet went 1-2 in the high jump, and Melissa Leventhal won the pole vault.
Nova Platzer led the throws group with a win in the shot put.
With dominant performances across every event group and a high volume of personal bests, the women controlled the meet from start to finish.
Men’s Recap
The Saline men’s team followed with two strong league wins, defeating Temperance Bedford 79–58 and Ann Arbor Huron 80–57.
Distance was a decisive advantage.
Jacob Szalay won the 800m (1:59.03 PB) and placed 2nd in the 1600m.
Brennan Larusso captured the 1600m (4:28.21 SB) and helped lead the winning 4x800 relay (8:11.25).
The distance group packed the standings in multiple events, creating a major scoring edge.
Sprints and hurdles delivered standout performances.
Chanon Palmer had a historic day, setting a school record in the 110m hurdles (14.36) and moving to 4th all-time in the 300m hurdles (38.78 PB).
Cruz Hanson (50.05 SB) and Jack Walden (22.64 SB, 51.00 SB) led a strong sprint group.
Relays were a major strength.
The 4x200 relay team ran 1:31.40 to take first, while the 4x800 relay added another win.
Multiple relay squads placed, showcasing the team’s depth.
Field events contributed key points.
Lennon Cohoon won the long jump with a big personal best (21'5"), moving him to 8th all-time in school history.
Alexander Stockton won the high jump (5'10") and added additional points in the long jump.
The throws group continued to show improvement with multiple personal bests.

This was a statement meet for both programs. Between record-breaking performances, all-time marks, and exceptional depth, Saline continues to build momentum as the season progresses.
